Dr. Denise Olivier and her husband Pieter started OilGrow in 2018. At first, she focussed only on assisting farmers with the analysis of the pure essential oils they produced. She would set up Certificates of Analysis for them as bargaining tools to make sure the market-related prices for the bulk oils could be obtained. She also offered to draft other required documents for them such as Technical Data Sheets, Material Data Safety Sheets and IFRA Certificates – all required for exporting their top-quality essential oils.
We soon realized that the farmers are not necessarily the guys who are selling the oils and making it available to the local market. We knew that was where OilGrow had to fill the gap in the industry. Today we have a retail footprint across South Africa. You can contact an OilGrow Reseller near you, or find our oils in various retail outlets such as pharmacies, health shops, spa’s and guesthouses, even DIY depots.
